Shit. A Christmas wrapping party last night. And it ain't even December yet. Kate found more crap she liked at Target instead of Wal-Mart. She went crazy over this wrapping paper she found for a dollar there. Never did make it to the post office. We had to wrap all this stuff up for her Mom and family.

At least we kept listening to the Waitress' "Christmas Wrapping" song which has like this spunk to it, you know. Who knew those guys would have a Christmas hit like that. And the thing is..its more than just a Christmas song. I couldn't stop listening to it. Kate's got this cheap Christmas cd of pop music. Not bad really. Only I actually like listening to that one song best.

So yeah, she's got me rapped around her finger. As usual. And she says I'm not so bad at wrapping packages. Who would have thunk it?

She tried to get a hold of Val, but never did last night. Oh well...

Later we ended up watching RUSHMORE. I didn't even know we had that movie. She got it out cause she said it remined her of this kid she works with. Of course, it was a little disturbing that this Junior in high school has been coming on to her, and she hadn't told me. She said the extent of it was just these huge hugs. Anyway, she says he's in to kissing boys. But I don't know sounds like he'd like to kiss her, too. Then we watched THE SWEETEST THING which Mom gave me a couple of years back and I never watched cause I thought it was a chick flick. Ok, it sort of is. But there are a couple of wacky things in this movie. Like they go in to song at this chinese place about what you're supposed to say to a guy about his penis. That was wild. Then later one of the roommates gets her mouth stuck on some guy's penis because of his piercing. Wooo...

It wasn't all that good, yet not horrible. Glad my Mom never knew what that movie was about.

Anyway, maybe we'll actuall go to a matinee today. Hopefully, she won't be calling Val about it.
