Man, I gotta work til Thursday. I don't know why we can't get out earlier. Its finally warming up, too. Well, sort of. Not as warm as they say. But no snow. Not now.

Kind of got a cough. Didn't sleep too well last night. Well, not as much as I want too. I started coughing. Now my side hurts.

Yeah, thats the way it would be.

We went and saw KING KONG. It was all right. But its so long. And Kate kept thinking Watts' outfit would have gotten messed up more while on the island. And how did they really get Kong to NYC so quickly? But some great special effects. Now if Kate could just go and see BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, but I don't think it'll be anywhere around here. Of course she wants to see something, BREAKFAST AT PLUTO'S, I think. Says she'd rather see Cillan Murphy kiss Jonothon Rhys-Myers than Jake and what's his face. Except that Myers' guy ain't even in the BREAKFAST movie.

Don't know how we got started on this conversation. Man, hope its not her fantasy to see me kiss some guy. It ain't gonna happen.

Oh yeah, my grand-daddy remember us. Sent us a Wal-Mart gift card. Now Kate can't decide what she wants to get. A mixer, or some towels or maybe some new bed sheets. Frankly, we could use the mixer. Thing is, I'd probably use it more than she would. Mom gave us her old one, and it takes forever to mash potatoes with it.

Well, my side is still hurt'n. Its just gonna be a lovely day.
