Bernice is back. I thought she was going to move south somewhere for good. She's our landlady.

So yeah, I had to go and pick her up Friday night from the airport. She gets here right before it snows. And now she's been bugging me ever since. Her house isn't warm, evidently. And then I had to shovel her driveway. Also my parents too. Thank God, it wasn't a blizzard or anything.

Kate's about to go nuts with Bernice around. We might be looking for a new place. I just don't know if we can take it. Hope her new boyfriend calls her soon because this old bird seriously needs to be entertained. Its like she's expecting both of us to take care of her.

Her daughter hasn't came over once. They are on the outs. Still. Its like nothing never changes with this woman.

I got to wonder how she even got here. She might be going mental. Hard to tell. And hell, I don't know what I'm supposed to do about it. Its like she doesn't have any family.

We called Mom about it. Kate thinks Bernice has a memory problem. Yeah, she's already picked up on that. Hard to say if she's pulling our leg or maybe its really true.

Hell, I just thought she was lonely, you know. Needed us to talk to, but it could be more than that. Mom's supposed to see her day and see if she thinks there's a problem.
