Kate can not cut pizza worth a darn so I have too. Yeah, we're chowing on frozen pizza from the oven at the moment.

She says I should just quit the postal subbing. It wasn't all that long ago, all I heard from her was I'd make more money if I was postman.

Ha!

For starters its not one of those jobs where you're going to sit on your butt. And you don't get your very own route, either. You gotta wait. Like it might be years. And as it is, I only go in on Saturdays. But the day is so damn long. And you got old women looking at you with shitty expressions and you know what they're thinking, "Whats that damn kid doing with my mail?"

This other guy I work with who's about my age never says a damn word so its frustrating, but if we're gonna save big time, then I better keep at it as long as I can.

Anyways, she starts her new job tomorrow. Her very last weekend at the library. No time to give her a party or nothing. Although, I think this old chick will do something for her cause she's really into baking cakes, pies and cookies. And I guess Kate feels kind of bad that she's leaving before the last week of the summer reading program. So she's like in this fixed state of gloom when she shouldn't be. She should be all happy and shit.

And all we're doing to celebrate is to eat frozen pizza on her lunch break. Think I'll get her flowers or something. Maybe work on that curtain rod she's been wanting hung up for ages in the livingroom only I hadn't felt like doing it. Believe me, you don't want to give that woman power tools are you'll have holes in the wall, everywhere.

Then if thats not enough, she's all horrified for Dylan at the moment. See, he got mixed up with this chick who has a kid and separated from this Army dude and well, he's coming in like beginning of August.

She's got it in her head that this guy is gonna kill Dylan. But he don't seem all that worried about it. I mean, he's there for her kid, and seems really happy with her. I think he wants to marry her, but that might not happen anytime soon cause he's taking classes.

So if its not one thing..then its something else.
